What is wayfinding?

Wayfinding is literally translated ‘finding the way’. This indicates that wayfinding includes the process of finding a destination. Smart Signs supplies tools in order to find a destination in an easy and efficient manner.  Because the optimal route to a destination can be different for everyone, we speak of a personal wayfinding. And because a route guidance should also deal with local circumstances, we speak of intelligent wayfinding. 

What is a Way Sign?

Way Signs indicate by means of a display projection, lighting or a personal route description device. The Way Signs recognize a user (employee or visitor) by means of for example Bluetooth or RFID and give specific information on the most optimal route at that moment.

How does this digital wayfinding work within buildings?

Smart Signs recognize a user by means of amongst others Bluetooth (mobile phone) or RFID (entrance pass, loose tag) and they subsequently give the user information on the most optimal or required route within the building. This route information is clearly indicated through wireless communication on a display on the wall, a mobile phone or a PDA. 

What is a Door Sign?

These dynamic Door and Room Signs are displays on which information is indicated with relation to a certain location and people connected to this location. This information can adjust itself to a specific visitor.

Meeting Rooms Signs are the Smart Signs solution for meeting rooms and presentation rooms. Meeting Rooms Signs are displays that give information on the activities and the messages and planning connected to a specific meeting room.

What is a Message Board?

A Message Board provides current and relevant information digitally to all users (or groups) of a building or department. This can be both general and specific information. General messages are visible on all displays, specific messages only on the display where the relevant visitors are around.
